So far, I’ve spent over an hour trying to navigate Verizon’s website to sign up for super-cheap phone service with DSL. It’s quite possibly the worst pre-customer experience I’ve ever had, second only to the last time I tried to sign up with them and they couldn’t find my house but forgot to let me know for three weeks. It’s completely amazing that this company still exists and has customers. Why am I trying to sign up, you might ask? I can save $20 a month on internet access. I think I’ve spent about $100 so far of frustration, so it’s going to take a while for this to break even.
