I’ve got a new machine. Here’s what I installed.
I got a new MacBook Air last week, and rather than using my usual Migration Assistant path for moving to the new box, I decided to start fresh. Years of cruft have built up on my old machines to the point that I’ve got gigs and gigs of applications I never use. So, starting over, I figured I’d record everything I installed in order to get to what I consider a usable state. Some, like RVM and Homebrew, require XCode to be installed first, so don’t take this as an install guide. Very happy with the result though.
